Ceremonials

On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, Arts and Letters held its annual Ceremonial at the Church of the Intercession in Washington Heights, New York City, and inducted 23 new members and presented awards in Architecture, Visual Art, Literature, and Music. Professor Danielle Allen delivered the keynote Blashfield Address, entitled Democracy—Why Should We Care?, and our highest awards were presented to Laurie Anderson, Doris Kearns Goodwin, and James C. Horton.
